On October 13th, in Foshan, a little girl was hit by a car. Although there were 18 passer-bys as she lay on the street, nobody would like to help her, not even called the policemen. A t last, she was saved by a junkman. Unfortunately, she died. She left the world forever. She was only 2 years. We call her “little yue yue”.

“Little yue yue ” has gone, and all of us felt so sorry for her, especially the 18 people who passed her by. Because of this, I want to say that we need love, everyone need love.

It is important for us to learn to love others as the first lesson in our life. It is only when you know how to love others, will you be a real man in the world. Love brings us warmth in the fearful coldness, love brings us bright when life gets hard and dark, love brings us confidence toward life when we are tired out and give up.

Love is simply, love is power, love is brevity.

Let us hand in hand to give our love to the world, give our love to the people around us.

We had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot of truth in the book. We had a basic concept to our country at that time. We know that our country is full of sunshine , and we are the future of our country, and our dreams are to be the hope of our motherland.

However,We don't know what time to start,We are grow up,Life became not the same, though we dont want to admit, its the truth that our mind and attitude to our country is changing. Our society became full of deception, indifference, intrigue, pressure, corruption, sinister, and we became irritable and not calm, detest the world and its ways. Our country seems to have become in a disastrous state too. A lot of young students who were nurtured by our motherland became impatient, let alone what are their dreams , what is the china dream ?

I was surprised ,when the old man fell down in the street,We are afraid to help him.I was disappointed ,when someone do good things were reported,many people think he was affectation, I was sad,when I saw many of young people become indifferent ,fraud and lack of ideal.

Are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?

i believe in our future

hello, dear teacher and fellow students.

it is my honor to be here on this beautiful and sunny afternoon to share with you my view on our future.

recently, there is a heated debate in our society.

the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places.

but will we be able to face the challenges and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?

the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the sligh test discomfort.

but the cynics are wrong.

the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently and seeking for the new world.

we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

the cynics say we care for nothing other than entertainment; and we neglect the need for character cultivation.

but again, the cynics are wrong.

we care deeply for each other, we love freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth.

last week, some of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

besides,some of us have ever been volunteers and they will continue helping others.

as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives.

we all face a fundamental choice:

cynicism or faith, each will deeply impact our future, or even the future of our country.

i believe in all my fellow classmates.

though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish.

i believe that we have the courage and confidence to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities.

we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place.

i believe in our future.

Hello, Dear teachers and fellow students. It is my honor to be here on this beautiful Friday morning to share with you my view on “Me- time”.

In my opinion，finding me-time is important. With the development of the modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.

I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But now, basketball, my best friend, I haven’t touched it for almost two months. Me- time seems to have become a luxury.

Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told my parents the news. I asked my father, “ Dad, may I play basketball after school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time.” My father showed his dispproval and said, “ Of course you can’t . I’m disappointed at you. Why do you have such a silly idea? Don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons.” In my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time.

As far as I’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally.

My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? It’s me-time. I do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. Finding me-time will make our life rich, colorful and rewarding.

Learning english can be a very difficult task for most people, this is because we dont live in a environment where we are forced to speak or write english. so i think the best way to learn english is by communicating with others using the lagnguage itself and not just learn from the book. Im sure if you live in an environment such as a foreign country and were forced to speak and write english everyday then your english will imprve dramatically.

Although we must agree that we need to read and write english from the book in order to get the foundations that we need for basic communication, this is essential but as i said, this is only a foundation, what you develop afterwards all depends on your ability to adapt to an environment and your courage.

a little princess

a little princess is a touching novel written by frances hodgson burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist. the book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it.

the extraordinary story gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess. in my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! she was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “if you please” “thank you”. so, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her.

there was a time when sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the headmaster of the school. in spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. no matter when, sara acted like a princess, she had accomplished a great deal of miracles over and over again.

after reading this outstanding book, i was shocked by sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain, but still had an opposit attitude towards life. what impresses me most is that sara

put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of london.

the way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. if you want to become a princess, you can suppose yourself to be a princess without caring how the others would treat you. then you should be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. if you du likewise ,you will be a princess someday.
