I am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’ preparation with my friend Jinly. Thanks to Jinly’s strong support in our work. I think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellent presentation to all my friends here.

The subject of our presentation is “YOUR DREAM & YOUR GOAL”. During the next 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.

First of all, I’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. When we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. We answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. When we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. But unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. I guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. Yep! We’re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. Well, how about this? WHO THE HELL KNOWS! Dream is only a dream. It’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. You know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. But what do dreams do? Why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?

Think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? Do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? That is the power from dreams! May I equate the faith and the dream here? As we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some extent but close to each other on the other hand. Just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. But it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. Just like what Howard Schultz, the founder of the Starbuck said, Dreams are like the stars----we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. And I believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!

I would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: Whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. We'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. Whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. Reach your aim step by step and I believe your dreams will extremely come into truth!

l use in his lifetime 30 times more of the worlds resources than a baby born in india. unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all. for most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. for example, china has carried out birth control for years. and this plan has a GREat effect on the world population. if the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we dont  do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. by protecting nature, we protect ourselves. lets unite together, hand in hand we stand all across the land. we can make this world in which to live. hand in hand. control the population growth. take good care of our nature.

I can see the rope flowers in front of my house every spring and enjoying feeling.The reason is that I can close my eyes and embrace the blue sky,quietly listen to the sound of nature.It is a kind of beauty to enjoy myself.

Since the development of the technology, the society gets modernized, people make use of the high technology to pursue more profit. Though the government has noticed the problem that people do to the environment, they still can’t prevent negative result that the polluted environment brings.

Many years ago, the most prominent problem of the polluted environment is that the river and the water were changed their color, some fish even died for the polluted river.

Now the situation becomes ever worse, lately, in the big city, like Beijing and Shanghai, people are annoyed by the bad weather. It is not the rainy day, but the haze around the sky, there is no way for people to run away for it. The haze contains toxic elements, people breathe it and hurt their bodies.

The haze problem is the result of people’s pursuit for the profit, what people did to the environment now has been paid back by the environment. Now people have realized the revenge from the nature is so huge, protecting the environment is the main task. No matter how bad the environment is, people still need to do something to fix their mistake.

I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng and I've learned about Zheng He.Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished?

I know that my ancestors have made miracles on this fertile land and we're still making miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!

I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly：we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition is even bigger, our challenges are great, but our will is evengreater.

I am Chinese. I have inherited black hair and blackeyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!
